Aspiring to inspire

My name is Samantha Willard and I am mezmerized by music. My goal is to open a music school for inner city youth. I am classically trained and can sing in four languages. I sing in French, German, Italian, and Spanish. I think it is important to be cultured. I feel that the youth today does not have much to look up to. I want to send the message to them that music can be a positive influence. Music is a way of sharing emotions that sometimes can not just be spoken. A lot of the music is sending out negative message to the youth. I want to put an end to that. My school will not just be for vocal, but for instrumentalists too. I want to inspire a child to want to share their talents. I want them to be able to inspire a peer or someone headed down the wrong path. If I can change one person, my goal has been a success. But, aside from music, I really enjoy family time. I love spending time with my family. Without family I am nothing, it is important to have a strong family structure.
